Top model agency, PULSE stages the 10th Annual Caribbean Fashion Week

One of the Caribbean’s top model agencies, PULSE, will stage the 10th annual Caribbean Fashion Week (CFW) from June 15-21. The event will showcase collections from over 20 international designers and feature the musical talents of R&B sensation Johnny Gill and Grammy Award-winning singer, Katia Cadet. Along with celebrating Caribbean fashion and connecting industry players, the event will also raise funds for the Haiti Art and Fashion Project, a Pulse initiative to help rebuild Haiti’s creative industries.

Even the Jamaica Ocho Rios International Jazz Festival has caught the fashion bug. The event kicked off on June 12 with a jazzed up fashion show featuring collections from Les Campbell, Fashion Whirl and Bling Bling Fashion. The nine-day festival runs until June 20 with performances in over 30 locations islandwide. American Jazz Violinist, Lila; Jamaica’s Desi Trio; Canada’s Kiralina and Etienne Charles from St. Lucia are just some of the celebrated acts scheduled for the festival.
